Wide-Eyed Wednesdays, hosted by Mama Bass and Open House Detroit, showcase artists at their best. Fueled by our shared obsession of electronic dance music, we vow to bring you the art, community, and music that is carefully curated around highlighted artists of the evening.
Drink specials from 6pm to 8pm starting at $1 off for house cocktails. There will also be shot specials, a food vendor, and art vendors.
We have a very special WEW. We get to showcase the very talented RAEDY LEX! Super excited to have her on! Her debut at WEW. ❤️ Then we have Plateau Sigma coming all the way in from Traverse City to celebrate his release with Frisson Records .
We are actually throwing some bass music in the mix with Neural Patterns! Lauren Dazzo might have the hardest part of the evening in trying to bridge the gap from bass music to techno (thankfully she’s a rockstar).
Other than the already beautifully curated gallery by Damien Devio, for your visual pleasure, Chris Griffin and Wolfgang Dire are going to be adding their creative touches to the evening. Gracing us with photographic proof we exist will be done by Jess Harrison. March 22nd will be going one hour later than usual too! We wanted to make sure our homie Pete Macd (Plateau Sigma) gets his time to shine while he’s in town.
